The Italian media outlet Radio Seri has reported that Lazio star forward has left his club’s training camp in order to finalise a transfer to Inter Milan.
The 22-year-old Senegal international is under contract with Lazio until June 2018 but has already refused to sign a contract extension and Biancocelesti have no other solution but to sell him and avoid losing the talented forward on a free deal next summer.
Keita Balde Diao’s contract situation has generated plenty of interest from Europe’s biggest sides and Juventus, AC Milan, AS Monaco and Chelsea were only some of the names linked with the Lazio starlet.
It was Inter Milan who won the race to sign the talented forward in the end as Keita Balde Diao travels to Milan with his agent Roberto Calenda for a meeting with Nerazzurri board of directors to wrap up a €20 million summer transfer.
