Barcelona midfielder Seydou Keita is in talks with Chinese side Dalian Aerbin, El Mundo Deportivo has revealed.
The Malian international is now a free agent after his contract at Camp Nou expired yesterday and he is now pondering his options.
The experienced midfielder was heavily linked with a move to Italian Serie A, but El Mundo Deportivo claims he is now considering an offer from Dalian Aerbin.
The player was photographed with his wife and his agent in the city of Dalian, which proves the deal is on the verge of being completed.
The Chinese Super League side don’t have too many high-profile players in the squad, with former Barcelona midfielder Fabio Rochemback the number one player on the team sheet.
Seydou Keita, who will turn 33 in January, has spent last four seasons at Camp Nou, and has scored 16 goals in 119 La Liga games for the Catalans.
