Competition: Championship
Market: Kemar Roofe to score anytime
Odds: 6/4 @ Bet 365
Now tipped by many as one of the leading contenders to win the Championship outright this season, Marcelo Bielsa’s high-flying Leeds side will travel to Wales on Tuesday night looking to extend their stunning start to the new season.
Starting with Graham Porter’s Swansea side, although The Swans have started their new Championship campaign by going unbeaten in their three opening games, they’re coming off the back of a 0-0 draw with a struggling Birmingham side where they failed to impress. Scrapping wins against Sheffield United and Preston, in a Championship that is stacked with big names, Swansea will know it will be a huge struggle to overcome some of the divisions heavy hitters. With just two clean sheets since the start of March, it will be tough for them to keep out a Leeds side led by the in-form Kemar Roofe.
As for Marcelo Bielsa’s Leeds side, after bringing in the former Argentina and Napoli boss earlier in the summer, The Whites have only gone from strength to strength. Booking their spot in the second round of the EFL Cup and winning all three of their Championship openers, many have them tipped as the early favorite to win the division outright. Scoring 11 in their last four, one major factor in their impressive start to the season is top scorer Kemar Roofe. The 26-year-old has been their standout performer so far this year and also have three in three this year.
