According to the i Newspaper, Liverpool and both Manchester clubs have made contact with the representatives of Bournemouth left-back Milos Kerkez, and the preferred destination for the Hungary international right now is Anfield.
After a highly notable season with AZ Alkmaar, Kerkez joined Bournemouth in the summer of 2023 for a reported fee of just over £15 million. His rise to prominence continued, and now the Cherries, who have him under contract until the end of the 2027/28 season, value his services at around £50 million.
Liverpool are said to be interested in the 21-year-old as a potential candidate for a long-term successor to Andy Robertson, with the Scotland captain putting in rather questionable performances this term.
Bournemouth, however, have no intention of selling Kerkez this month, despite completing the signing of Julio Soler from Argentinian side Lanus. On the other hand, it’s likely to be a different story in the summer.
If Liverpool do not sign Kerkez in the summer, their alternative target is Rayan Ait-Nouri of Wolverhampton Wanderers.
