Kevin Grosskreutz drops Liverpool hint

Borussia Dortmund star Kevin Grosskreutz has revealed that he would love to play for Liverpool one day.

The 23-year-old has proved to be an excellent piece of business for the German giants, having played a key role in Jurgen Klopp’s side ever since he arrived on a free transfer from Rot Weiss Ahlen.

However, after spending three very successful seasons at Signal-Iduna Park, the attacking midfielder is being linked with a number of top European clubs.

Grosskreutz states that he is happy at Borussia, but doesn’t want to rule anything out at the moment.

“I love Borussia. But I cannot rule out anything, it would not be professional,” the Germany international said to Sport Bild.

The talented footballer explains that English Premier League would be his preferred destination and reveals he has a soft spot for Liverpool.

“It would be a dream to play for Liverpool some day. England is a dream for all footballers.”

Kevin Grosskreutz has scored 20 goals in 97 Bundesliga games for BVB, while he netted 7 goals and produced as many assists in 31 Bundesliga matches last term.
