Kevin-Prince Boateng considering his options

Schalke star Kevin-Prince Boateng has been the subject of interest from abroad as he prepares to leave Veltins Arena.

Even if the club’s highest earner has another year left on his €8m per campaign deal, the Miners are desperate to offload him at the earliest opportunity.

Seeing as there are not too many clubs in the world ready to meet the midfielder’s wage demands, Schalke cannot hope to receive a considerable transfer fee in the summer.

According to Bild, the Miners have received the first proposal for Boateng, as an unnamed Chinese club are desperate to secure his signature.

The Ghana international would also consider joining the MLS given that his wife aims to pursue an acting career in Hollywood.

Kevin-Prince Boateng, 28, hasn’t made such a big impact after joining on a lucrative deal from AC Milan, having managed 6 goals and 4 assists in 44 Bundesliga outings for the Miners.
