German goalkeeper Kevin Trapp reportedly wants to leave Paris Saint-Germain at the earliest opportunity, Bild has suggested.
The 26-year-old enjoyed a decent debut season at Parc des Princes, making 35 league appearances, and he began the current campaign as the number one goalkeeper.
However, Alphonse Areola has taken over from Trapp following the poor start of the season and the Germany international has quickly grown frustrated by the lack of playing time.
German media outlet Bild claims that the former Eintracht Frankfurt star wants to leave the club in the January window, but it remains to be seen whether PSG chiefs would be prepared to sell.
After Salvatore Sirigu had joined Sevilla on a season-long loan, the Saints only have two quality goalkeepers in their ranks and they would only consider selling Trapp if they find him a replacement.
Talented Remy Descamps is currently the third choice keeper, but he has yet to be handed his first team debut.
