Paris based Ligue 1 side Paris St Germain striker Mateja Kezman has joined Zenit St Petersburg on a season-long loan deal.

The Serbian striker moved to Parc des Princes from Fenerbahce last summer but struggled to make much of an impression.

He has continued to find life difficult at the start of the new Ligue 1 season and has so far had just 25 minutes of action this term.

Kezman will now hope to enjoy more success in Russia after the two clubs came to an agreement that could lead to a permanent switch.

The 30-year-old has previously had spells with Partizan Belgrade, PSV Eindhoven, Chelsea and Atletico Madrid.
