Dutch defender Khalid Boulahrouz of VfB Stuttgart will most probably be out for several weeks after injuring his thigh in the match with Borussia Dortmund on Saturday.
Boulahrouz suffered the injury while sprinting for the ball after sixty minutes and had to come off for Georges Mandjeck.
Tests point out that Boulahrouz damaged a muscle in his thigh, which normally requires a couple of weeks to heal.
Consequence is also that the player likely misses Holland’s World Cup qualifiers with Iceland and Norway in October.
