Khedira offered to PSG; Gino Peruzzi inks Catania deal

hot-transfer-newsKhedira offered to PSG

French Radio Monte Carlo reports that Real Madrid midfielder Sami Khedira has been offered to Paris Saint-Germain.

The same source understands that the player’s representative contacted the French giants to offer them the services of the Germany international.

Khedira is no longer considered an important member of the squad at Santiago Bernabeu, following the arrival of Asier Illarramendi and Casemiro, and los Blancos seem prepared to cash in on him this summer.

It is no secret PSG boss Laurent Blanc is looking to sign a high-profile midfielder, with Yohan Cabaye his number one target.

However, with the player of Khedira’s quality and experience becoming available, chances are the Saints will attempt to lure the German to Parc des Princes instead.

Paris Saint-Germain have already stayed without David Beckham, while Mohamed Sissoko, Mathieu Bodmer and Clement Chantome are also expected to leave.

Gino Peruzzi inks Catania deal

Catania have announced on their official website that they have signed Argentine defender Gino Peruzzi from Velez Sarsfield.

The 21-year-old joined the Elephants in a reported €3.5 million deal, signing a four-year contract at Stadio Angelo Massimino.

Peruzzi becomes club’s third high-profile signing of the summer, following in the footsteps of Panagiotis Tachtsidis and Luciano Fabian Monzon.

The highly rated full-back had been on the verge of joining Sunderland, only for the move to fail to materialize due to a failed medical.

Despite his fragile age, Gino Peruzzi already has four Argentina caps to his name, and he has started two of team’s last three 2014 World Cup qualifiers.

He has, however, made just 34 league appearances for Velez Sarsfield, albeit featuring in 20 Copa Libertadores matches.

Benfica bid for Aguilar

Spanish newspaper Alicante Actulidad has learned that a number of Europe’s top clubs are keen on Hercules midfielder Abel Aguilar.

The Segunda side are hoping to get rid of one of their highest earners and his €700,000 yearly wage so that they can service the debt that is preventing them from registering new players.

According to Alicante Actulidad, the likes of Benfica, Toulouse and Granada have all submitted proposals for the Colombian, but he doesn’t seem to be too interested in leaving the club.

The 28-year-old returned to Hercules following a successful loan spell with Deportivo La Coruna, but his future seem to lies elsewhere.

Aguilar, who has 36 Colombia caps to his name, has one year left on his deal in Alicante, meaning he is available on a cut-price deal.

The Colombian has spent last six and a half years in Spain, playing for Xerez, Hercules, Real Zaragoza and Deportivo La Coruna.
