Turin-based media outlet Tuttosport has learned that Real Madrid midfielder Sami Khedira is on the verge of joining Juventus.
The Bianconeri yesterday confirmed their interest in the German footballer, and it appears they have already persuaded the 28-year-old to move to Turin.
Namely, Tuttosport claims that Khedira has undergone a medical and will soon be signing a long-term deal with the Italian champions.
The Germany star is set to become a free agent having opted against extending his deal with Real Madrid and he is now ready for a new challenge.
Khedira spent a total of five years at Santiago Bernabeu, making 102 La Liga appearances, but he was never regarded an important player for the club.
His soon-to-be teammates will be in action in the Champions League final against Barcelona on 6th June, with Juventus priced at 9/4 to lift the coveted title for the third time in club’s history.
