According to a recent report from Sky Italia, Juventus midfielder Sami Khedira will no longer be leaving the club during the summer transfer window. The general belief is that he has successfully been able to work his way back into manager Maurizio Sarri’s plans moving forward, despite it seeming like that wasn’t going to be the case. A series of teams were believed to be interested in acquiring his services, with two of the most notable ones being Premier League sides Arsenal and Wolverhampton Wanderers. Khedira is an experienced German international who still has a great deal to give to European football, and we don’t say that lightly.
Juventus are set to go after the European Cup once again this season, and it’ll be interesting to see how heavily the veteran features in that reign, or if he decides to solely focus on the Bundesliga.
Either way, he’s a great tool to have around.
