Juventus are on the verge of signing Khephren Thuram from Nice in the summer transfer window, according to Fabrizio Romano. The well-known and well-respected Italian journalist has reported that Juventus will announce the deal on Wednesday.
Romano wrote on X: “Khéphren Thuram will be announced today as new Juventus player on €20m deal plus €5m add-ons.
“Contract until June 2029 already signed. Juventus keep talks active also for Jean-Clair Todibo, another player from OGC Nice.”
Thuram has been on the books of Nice since 2019 when he joined after leaving AS Monaco. The 23-year-old France international has gone on to establish himself as one of the best young midfielders in Ligue 1.
The young midfielder scored one goal and gave one assist in 25 starts and two substitute appearances in Ligue 1 last season. Thuram scored two goals and provided four assists in 30 starts and five substitute appearances in the league in 2022-23.
