Fulham’s Korean forward Ki Hyeon Seol has completed his return to his native land by signing a contract with K-League side Pohang Steelers. Seol had cancelled his contract with Fulham earlier this month and was in talks with Hong Kong club South China, but eventually chose a move to Pohang.
Pohang were in the market for attacking reinforcements after selling Denilson and Stevica Ristic to Uzbek side Bunyodkor in the winter market. Seol has signed a one year contract with the Korean giants.
Seol played for Kwangwoon University before moving to Europe in 2000. He had spells in Belgium with Royal Antwerp and Anderlecht before moving north to England in 2004 with Wolverhampton Wanderers. He moved to Reading after three years at Molineux, but then departed for Fulham after falling out with Royals boss Steve Coppell.
