Bayer Leverkusen striker Stefan Kiessling admits he is flattered by the reported interest from Borussia Dortmund.
It is no secret the Millionaires are looking to sign a replacement for Robert Lewandowski and they have been linked with a number of high-profile strikers.
The latest name on their hit-list is Bayer Leverkusen forward Stefan Kiessling, who is currently Bundesliga top scorer together with Mario Mandzukic.
The 29-year-old attacker says he is proud to be linked to such a great club, but does not want to create problems at his current club.
“I know nothing. I am surprised. This is not an issue for me,” Kiessling was quoted as saying in Sport Bild.
“If my name is mentioned in such a context, that is an acknowledgement. But, I do not want this to bring unrest.”
Stefan Kiessling has developed into one of the best Bundesliga strikers soon after joining the club in a €6.5 million deal from Nurnberg.
He has since bagged 88 goals in 208 league appearances for the club, but he was especially impressive this term, netting 15 times in 22 league matches.
