Kilmarnock manager Jim Jefferies has secured Cameron Bell’s services for next season after the goalkeeper agreed a new one-year contract.
The 22-year-old who had been out of contract this summer, has now put pen-to-paper on new terms.
Manager Jefferies believes the shot-stopper has great potential and thinks he will be pressing Alan Combe for the number one shirt.
Jefferies also confirmed Bell’s contract will be automatically extended by one year if he makes a certain number of starts in the coming SPL season.
“Cammy came in at Motherwell for the final game of the season and did very well. We believe he has a lot of potential,” stated Jefferies.
“His contract is for a year and if he makes a certain number of starts he will get another year.
“He’ll provide competition for Alan but Alan will want that to keep him on edge.”
