Seattle Sounders have announced via their official Twitter account the signing of South Korean centre-back Kim Kee-Hee.
The 28-year-old was recruited using Targeted Allocation Money and he arrives from Shanghai Greenland Shenhua.
Kee-Hee is the club’s fifth purchase, following in the footsteps of Roman Torres, Kevin Leerdam, Victor Rodriguez and Magnus Wolff Eikrem.
South Korea international defender spent last two years with Chinese side Shanghai Shenhua, scoring 2 goals in 45 league appearances.
With 23 national team caps to his name, Kee-Hee arrives with a wealth of experience and he is expected to make quite an impact at Seattle Sounders.
