Manchester United youngster Joshua King has joined Hull City on loan for the rest of the season.
The Norwegian striker recently returned to Old Trafford from an unproductive stint with Bundesliga outfit Borussia Moenchengladbach, where first-team football was hard to come by.
The 20-year-old was hampered by a number of fitness problems while in Germany, but he will expect to make a bigger impact in the Championship.
“Joshua’s going out on loan again as he struggled to make an impact out there in Germany and that’s the way it can be sometimes,” United reserve coach Warren Joyce said.
“You can still learn from bad experiences.”
New Hull boss Nick Barmby is hoping King can make the difference as his side look to mount a promotion push, citing former United youngster Fraizer Campbell as potential inspiration.
“Players can make a name for themselves here and use the loan as a platform,” Barmby told The Hull Daily Mail.
“It’s a very similar situation to when we brought Fraizer Campbell here.”
“We’re delighted to get Josh in. I first saw him play two or three years ago and I’ve kept tabs on him ever since.”
“He’s an exciting player. Josh will fit into the way we play and it’s a great chance for him.”
