King return boosts Spurs

(GSM) – Tottenham have been boosted by the news Ledley King is fit to return against Arsenal on Wednesday night.

King has been on the sidelines since February after picking up a thigh injury but looks set to return against the Gunners as Spurs look to bounce back following Sunday’s FA Cup semi-final defeat against Portsmouth.

The 29-year-old continues to be plagued by chronic knee problems and has only managed 15 appearances this season but his return against Arsenal could be timely.

Croatian midfielder Niko Kranjcar picked up a foot injury against Pompey and is doubtful while Wilson Palacios will miss out through suspension after picking up 10 yellow cards.
