According to a report from Sky Sports News, Manchester United have agreed a deal to bring Joshua King to the club from Bournemouth. The forward looks set to return to Old Trafford as he aims to link back up with fellow Norwegian Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
It’s been no secret that United have been trying desperately to bring in a forward before the January transfer window comes to an end, and while it may seem like a bit of a panic purchase, it now appears as if King is going to be the man they really go after in the next few hours as the window slowly begins to close.
However, the report in question also indicates that the Cherries are saying no deal has been agreed. The transfer would go down based on Bournemouth being able to find some kind of replacement, but with so little time remaining, it’s going to be a tough ask for them to bring someone else in.
