Klinsmann: Now we turn our attention to Barça

Bayern Munich could not have had worse preparation ahead of Wednesday’s Champions League quarter-final, first-leg clash with red-hot Barcelona at the Camp Nou, as they were demolished 5-1 by VfL Wolfsburg.

“This defeat hurts, especially since we have the game against Barcelona coming up. Every player must realise what’s at stake in that game. We’re playing for the future of Bayern Munich,” he told reporters.

“We will discuss the mistakes that we made but now, we must turn our attention to Barca. We have to look forward and make sure we give a good account of ourselves. We are all professionals and that means we must be able to lift our game, even after such a heavy defeat”.
