Borussia Dortmund boss Jurgen Klopp has added fuel to speculations linking the Millionaires with a move for Hannover striker Mame Biram Diouf.
BVB are actively searching for a replacement for Robert Lewandowski, who looks set to leave at the end of the current campaign, and it appears club officials will restrict the search to German Bundesliga.
The Millionaires have been heavily linked with a summer move for Hannover striker Mame Biram Diouf, and Dortmund have now moved to confirm the transfer talk.
“A very interesting player. We are watching and checking the market,” Jurgen Klopp said to Sky Deutschland.
BVB boss also revealed that Diouf’s strike partner Mohammed Abdellaoue was also on his radar.
“And we have been looking at Diouf, but also Abdellaoue.”
Mame Biram Diouf, 25, has been in fine form ever since he joined the club from Manchester United, scoring 16 goals in 29 Bundesliga appearances.
Mohammed Abdellaoue, on the other hand, arrived at Hannover from Valerenga and went on to score 28 goals in 72 Bundesliga matches.
