Klopp monitoring Wilson’s progress

Harry Wilson, currently on loan at Bournemouth from Liverpool, has revealed that the Reds boss Jurgen Klopp is closely monitoring his progress with the Cherries.

The 23-year-old has managed only one competitive appearance for the current Champions League holders, spending most of his career so far on loans. He played for Crew Alexandra in League One, then for Hull City and Derby County in the Championship, and now he has been given a shot at a Premier League side under Eddie Howe – one of the more respected managers in England. This is likely the moment when the attacking midfielder needs to show his top-flight credentials, possibly that last season he’ll spend on loan before a more permanent decision on his future is made.

Therefore, it comes as no surprise that Klopp is watching him closely. The game against West Ham on Saturday was Wilson’s seventh appearance for Bournemouth in all competitions, and he has three goals to his name so far.
