Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp is keen to take Barcelona goalkeeper Marc-Andre ter Stegen to Anfield, according to Sport.
The German coach is not too happy with his current options that include Simon Mignolet and Adam Bogdan, and is, therefore, ready to offer his compatriot an opportunity to become the number one goalkeeper at Merseyside.
Klopp is a big fan of the Germany international and having failed to lure him to Borussia Dortmund, he now aims to make things right.
The colourful coach plans to persuade the 23-year-old to join by promising him regular first team football, something that he is not getting at Camp Nou.
It is believed that ter Stegen is growing increasingly frustrated by playing second fiddle to Claudio Bravo and he would probably be interested in a move to Liverpool.
Following the impressive triumph over Chelsea at Stamford Bridge, the Reds are available at 6/4 to achieve a top 4 finish.
