Borussia Dortmund boss Jurgen Klopp is aiming for a big finish to the season, with second-placed Bayer Leverkusen his first target.
Dortmund returned from the winter break with a 5-0 win at Werder Bremen, and sit third in the league, three points adrift of Leverkusen, who also won in their first match of 2013.
Whilst both could already be too far behind Bayern Munich to challenge for the title, Klopp is determined to catch Leverkusen, with the two sides set to meet in two weeks’ time.
“There is no question that we want to catch Leverkusen,” he told reporters.
“In two weeks we will see if we are closer to achieving that.”
Before that match Leverkusen will face Nurnberg, and Klopp emphasised that neither Bayern or Leverkusen should distract from that match.
“Everything else is irrelevant,” he added.
“Next we have to play against Nuremberg, not Bayern.”
