Lazio striker Miroslav Klose says that he plans to retire after the 2014 World Cup.
The Germany international arrived to Lazio on a free transfer this summer and he has already earned a cult hero status, having scored the winner against bitter rivals Roma on Sunday.
The 33-year-old has now revealed that he plans to play for three more years before he calls it a day.
“If all goes well, I hope to play until 2014 with Lazio, appear in the World Cup and then end my career,” Klose told Kicker.
“Who knows me well is aware that the World Cup is my objective.”
