Il Corriere dello Sport is reporting that German striker Miroslav Klose is ready to commit his future to Lazio.
The veteran forward will be out of contract in the summer and he was widely tipped to leave the Biancocelesti in search of a new adventure.
However, Lazio officials have been working hard in an attempt to persuade Klose to extend his current deal and they seem to be close to reaching an agreement.
And while the Germany international is holding out for a two-year contract, Lazio seem ready to offer him a one-year extension with an option for another season.
Having arrived on a free transfer from Bayern Munich, Klose proved to be a valuable signing for the club, having scored 34 goals in 78 Serie A outings.
After losing to Napoli last time out, the Biancocelesti play host to Torino at the weekend and are available at 4/5 to emerge victorious.
