Koeman wants Dest at Barcelona

According to a recent report from Mundo Deportivo, Barcelona manager Ronald Koeman is keeping an eye on Ajax star Sergino Dest.

The defender has been linked with a move away from the Dutch giants for quite some time now, and not just because he’s known for being a Football Manager sensation.

Dest, who represents the United States at the international level, is one of the best teenage prospects on the planet right now and seems destined to make a move to an even bigger European club sooner rather than later.

You can bet that Ajax will demand a high fee if they agree to sell, though, and so they should. Many of their top stars have left in the last few years and if there’s one shining light for them, it’s that they should be more than capable of rebuilding if they’re given the kind of money necessary to do so.
