The father of Schalke full-back Sead Kolasinac has moved to deny reports suggesting that his son has signed a long-term contract with Arsenal.
The highly rated footballer will be out of contract in June and he has so far received quite a few offers from top European clubs.
English media suggested few days ago that Kolasinac had chosen Arsenal, but his father has denied the speculation.
“Sead didn’t sign anything. It is true that there have been contacts with Arsenal, but he is still not an Arsenal player,” Faik Kolasinac told Bosnian branch of N1 TV.
The full-back was believed to have signed a pre-contract agreement with AC Milan, but since said document expired on 3rd April, Kolasinac is now free to negotiate with other clubs.
Juventus, Everton and Tottenham Hotspur are some of the other clubs trying to win the chase for the 23-year-old footballer who managed 3 goals in 21 Bundesliga appearances this season.
Kolasinac is clearly set to make a decision on his future in the coming days and it would seem as though Arsenal have the upper hand.
