Koln, Brosinski: It’s like a dream

Daniel Brosinski won’t forget February 21, 2009. The 20 year-old played his first Bundesliga match and scored the decisive goal. The Cologne midfielder turned up the heat with an incredible strike that put his side up 2-0 and brought the team an important win on the road.

“It’s like a dream. My first Bundesliga match, against Bayern, and I score a goal: it’s simply sensational. I can’t even remember my last game”, the player told budesliga.de. “All of my teammates approached me and said that I didn’t need to be afraid and that the Bavarians are human too. Naturally, I was in awe of them. Mark van Bommel, especially. But that changed very quickly”.

“Now it is time to celebrate and then we can concentrate on the next game”, he concluded.
