Koln, Daum warns against complacency

The Cologne carnival is over, but FC Köln want to keep the euphoria going after the surprising 2-1 win at record champions FC Bayern. Christoph Daum warns against complacency, however. “I will bring everyone back down to earth with both feet”, the Cologne coach said ahead of Friday’s Bundesliga game against Arminia Bielefeld.

Daum expects Arminia to “make life harder for us than Bayern. The players must understand that they are in for hard work this time!”. Milivoje Novakovic agreed that “We have to keep our feet on the ground. We have to make our stadium a fortress again”`, the striker demanded.
