Kompany goes after Man City’s Sandler

According to a recent report from Sky Sports News, Anderlecht boss Vincent Kompany is close to securing the loan signing of Philippe Sandler. They are said to have been in talks with City over the possibility of a move for around a week now, with Sandler making the trip back to Belgium in order to try and finalise the deal. The irony in this move is that many fans have commented on the fact that Sandler comes across as a younger version of Kompany in his style of play, with some even suggesting that he is an exact replica of the big Belgian.

Either way it’s going to help him substantially to learn under a leader like Vincent, who is going to be taking on a manager/player role with the club that first helped him burst into the limelight.
