(GSM) – Fulham full-back Paul Konchesky is set to undergo a medical this weekend as he prepares to seal a switch to Liverpool, according to Sky Sports.
Reds manager Roy Hodgson confirmed his interest in Konchesky earlier in the week and it looks like the transfer is on the verge of completion.
29-year-old Konchesky, who was a regular in Fulham’s first-team during Hodgson’s time at Craven Cottage, is reportedly keen on reuniting with the 64-year-old manager after the Cottagers signed PSV left-back Carlos Salcido.
Konchesky, capped twice by England, joined Fulham from West Ham United three years ago.
He was an important part of the Fulham team that went on to reach the Europa League final last season.
