Sevilla’s Ivorian international striker Arouna Kone has joined struggling Bundesliga club Hanover on a six-month deal, the German club said Tuesday.

The 26-year-old arrives on a 1.2-million-euro loan deal as Hanover – who are third from bottom – look for a boost after five straight losses.

He joins compatriots Didier Ya Konan and Constant Djakpa at the north German club.

Hanover have also signed Brazilian midfielder Elson on loan from Stuttgart until the end of the season.
