(GSM) – Korea Republic showed to be in good shape ahead of June’s World Cup, beating Cote d’Ivoire in a London friendly on Wednesday.

The Africans with Eboue, Drogba and Keita in their starting line-up, could not prevent that the Koreans took the lead through Dong-Gook Lee after less than four minutes at Loftus Road Stadium.

And rather than Cote d’Ivoire scoring an equaliser, it was Korea’s Tae-Hwi Kwak to hand the Asians a second goal in the dying minutes.

Cote d’Ivoire have been drawn into World Cup Group G with Portugal, Brazil and North Korea, who they will face in that exact order.

Korea Republic open their Group B campaign against Greece, after they will meet with Argentina and Nigeria respectively.
