According to a recent report from Sky sources, Arsenal are open to the idea of allowing Laurent Koscielny to leave so long as their valuation of the defender is met. The Frenchman is set to receive some kind of punishment for refusing to travel with the Gunners on their upcoming tour of the United States, despite having a year remaining on his contract and seemingly being the captain of the club. He is said to want to be released on a free in order for him to return to France, but even with that being the case, this is still incredibly poor behaviour on his part.
It’s clear to see that this has really wound the club up, and yet despite that, Gunners manager Unai Emery has seemed pretty cool when discussing the matter with the media.
Who knows, perhaps this whole issue has just been blown out of proportion a little bit.
