Portuguese daily newspaper Record has suggested that a number of top clubs are showing interest in Benfica striker Kostas Mitroglou.
The Greek forward has been one of club’s leading performers ever since he arrived from Fulham, bagging 23 goals in 38 league appearances.
As a result, clubs from Italy, Spain, China and the Middle East have inquired about the possibility of signing the 28-year-old attacker, but the Eagles seem determined to keep hold of their star player.
What is more, Mitroglou himself has no desire to leave Estadio da Luz for greener pastures, as he wants to help the club continue to challenge for major honours.
Following a largely disappointing spell at Fulham, the Greek striker successfully kick-started his career in Portugal, forming an excellent attacking partnership with Jonas last season.
He has been in fine form this term as well, netting four times in six league appearances.
