Kovac’s Bayern future remains uncertain

According to a recent report from Bild, Bayern Munich boss Niko Kovac’s future is still in doubt. The higher-ups at the club are believed to be interested in challenging for the Champions League next season by any means necessary, and that could mean a change of management. Bayern are very close to securing the Bundesliga title, but the nature in which they were knocked out of the Champions League certainly proved to be a disappointment for the club. They exited to Liverpool who went on to reach the final, but it was still a fairly poor way of going out of such a competition. German football has been on a bit of a decline both in Europe and internationally over the course of the last year or so, and if Kovac is replaced by another high level manager, then it’ll be clear that they’re trying to do everything in their power to get them back to the top.
