Kramer signs new Bayer Leverkusen deal

Germany starlet Christoph Kramer has put an end to transfer speculations by extending his contract with Bayer Leverkusen until June 2019.

Die Werkself announced the news on their official website, with the 23-year-old agreeing a two-year extension on his previous deal.

Kramer will end the season at Borussia M’gladbach, where he is currently on loan, before returning to Bay Arena in the summer.

It was some impressive performances for die Fohlen that made the Germany international one of the most sought-after players in European football, with Real Madrid and Arsenal among clubs interested in his services.

Kramer, nonetheless, opted to commit his future to Bayer Leverkusen, although chances are he will remain on the radar of Europe’s top clubs.

The interesting thing is that Borussia M’gladbach are locked in the battle with die Werkself for Champions League qualification, with die Fohlen currently priced at 6/4 to achieve a top 4 finish.
