(GSM) – CSKA Moscow winger Milos Krasic’s deal is still alive, according to Juventus director general Beppe Marotta.
Krasic, 25, has been linked with a number of top clubs around Europe but his agent said that he was closing in on a deal to join Juventus.
CSKA’s asking price for the highly-rated Serbia international is just around €17.5 million but Juve couldn’t agree upon a fee with them.
“The sun hasn’t definitively set on a deal, but for the moment we have turned to Martinez who is an important player anyway,” Marotta told Radio Anch’io lo Sport.
“If CSKA review their demands then we could speak about Krasic again,” he concluded.
Earlier, the Old Lady Director general was less optimistic about the prospect of Krasic’s deal.
Speaking to Gazzetta dello Sport, he said: “We have made our offer to CSKA who didn’t accept it. Then we went down another path, the latest being that of Lanzafame.”
