Renowned for an eye for the talent, Portugal heavyweights Benfica have made quite a name for themselves as a club which has a particular knack for finding talented youngsters and promising talents around the globe.
The latest in line of young footballers to come on Benfica’s radar is the Turkey international Kubilay Kantatsizkus, who Portugal media outlet Abola claim has emerged as Benfica’s summer transfer target.
The 20-year-old forward currently plays for Bursaspor where he has already turned a couple of heads with his impressive performances. Kantatsizkus has so far bagged five goals for his club, but his overall quality performances have earned him rave reviews in his homeland.
His international form hasn’t gone unnoticed as well with Kubilay Kanatsizkus turning attention to himself with a brace in Tukey U-21s’ 4-0 win over Azerbaijan.
The young Turkish international in contracted with Bursaspor until 2020, but his stay in Turkey could be cut short with Benfica following him closely and pondering a summer swoop.
