Kurt Zouma to leave West Ham United

West Ham United are on the verge of offloading Kurt Zouma to Shabab Al Ahli Club in the summer transfer window, according to David Ornstein. The well-known and well-respected journalist, who works for The Athletic, has claimed that Zouma will join the UAE Pro League club on a free transfer.

Ornstein wrote on X: “Done deal between Shabab Al-Ahli & West Ham United for permanent transfer of Kurt Zouma. Agreement reached by clubs – #WHUFC centre-back to Dubai-based side on free transfer. 1yr left on contract so wages saved. Set to take medical + sign @TheAthleticFC.”

Zouma made 32 starts and one substitute appearance in the Premier League last season. He scored three goals in those games. The former Chelsea centre-back also played four times in the UEFA Europa League and played twice in the FA Cup for the Hammers last season. The 29-year-old French centre-back has made 247 appearances in the Premier League so far in his career. Zouma has scored 15 goals, given four assists and kept 59 clean sheets in those games.
