Watford have completed the signing of Manchester United goalkeeper Tomasz Kuszczak on loan until the end of the season.
The shot-stopper has been with Sir Alex Ferguson’s side for five-and-a-half years, but made his bow into English football after arriving at West Bromwich Albion in 2004 from German outfit Hertha Berlin.
Kuszczak has appeared for United 32 times since 2006, including six appearances during an initial season-long loan at Old Trafford.
The Pole will wear the number 35 shirt for the Championship club, and joined up with the rest of the team on Tuesday.
Watford have dealt with United before when it comes to goalkeepers, when they loaned Ben Foster for two campaigns between 2005 and 2007.
Sean Dyche’s men have sought to strengthen their stocks between the posts, following the poor recent form of Scott Loach and the loaning out of Rene Gilmartin to League Two side Crawley Town.
