Juventus full-back Kwadwo Asamoah is nearing the end of his contract with the Serie A champions.
The Ghana international will be a free agent at the end of the season having failed to agree on a contract extension with Bianconeri.
Asamoah was heavily linked with a move away from Juventus ever since last summer when it appeared he would be moving to Galatasaray. He remained in Turin despite the serious interest from Turkey but failed to secure a regular starting place with Serie A giants.
The 29-year-old Ghanaian still managed to amass 10 top-flight appearances for Juventus and earn interest from no less than eight different suitors, according to his agent.
“Seven or eight teams have called me for him, everything is open.”, Asamoah’s agent Federico Pastorello told the Italian media.
Juventus are unlikely to offer Asamoah a new deal as they’ve already been linked with a number of defensive targets, most prominently Matteo Darmian and most recently Valencia’s Jose Luis Gaya.
