Tottenham Hotspur defender Kyle Walker-Peters will join Southampton on a permanent contract in the summer transfer window, according to Sky Sports. The right-back spent the second half of this past season on loan at the Saints, and the 23-year-old will now join them on a permanent basis.
It has been reported that Tottenham and Southampton have agreed in principle on a £12 million transfer fee for Walker-Peters, although bonuses and payment structures are still to be formulated. The youngster has yet to agree personal term with the Saints, and a medical also needs to be carried out.
Southampton have also agreed to sell Denmark international midfielder Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg to Spurs for £15 million, according to the report, subject to a medical and personal terms being agreed. The 24-year-old has been on the books of the Saints since 2016 and has established himself as one of the better midfielders in the Premier League.
