After a run of eye-catching form of late Sigi Schmid’s LA Galaxy side now have the chance to jump up to third in the West when they welcome a struggling Orlando City team to the StubHub Center.

Starting with Schmid’s side, coming off the back of a 2-2 draw with fellow heavy hitters Los Angeles last week, although it has been a difficult 18 months for The Galaxy, they have climbed up the table and are now on a six-match unbeaten run. Holding the second best-attacking stats in the West, while former Manchester United man Zlatan Ibrahimovic may be stealing the headlines, one man to watch for the hosts is winger Ola Kamara. Along with finding the net against Los Angeles FC last time out, the 28-year-old now has three in his last four outings for The Whites.

As for Orlando, with James O’Connor’s side coming off the back of 2-0 loss to New York City last time out, The Purples have now astonishingly lost 12 of their last 13 MLS outings, a run steaming back to the start of May. With fellow strugglers DC United starting to show signs of life at the foot of the table, many believe that Orlando are this years favorites to land bottom spot come the end of the season. Coming up against a Galaxy side who have now scored 12 in their last five, Orlando hold the worst defensive record in either the West or the East and they will be in for another very tough afternoon on Monday.
