LA Galaxy line up Kaka to replace Beckham
Brazilian newspaper Lance claims that LA Galaxy are weighing up move for Real Madrid star Kaka.
The MLS side are eager to sign another world-class player after David Beckham announced he would leave the club when his contract expired in December.
According to Lance, LA Galaxy will attempt to sign Brazilian playmaker Kaka from Real Madrid.
The experienced midfielder has finally set his sights on leaving Santiago Bernabeu and he recently admitted he would love to test his skills in the MLS.
Given that other interested clubs have failed to prove they have the means to complete what would be a very expensive venture, a move to LA Galaxy does appear to be the most realistic option at the moment.
Kaka has done little to prove his worth at Santiago Bernabeu, scoring 20 goals in 70 La Liga appearances for los Blancos.
Liverpool keen on Grosskreutz
German newspaper Bild has learned that Liverpool are preparing a winter assault on Borussia Dortmund star Kevin Grosskreutz.
Brendan Rodgers is desperate to make several quality signings in January to improve both creative and attacking department and he is reportedly pondering a move for the German midfielder.
Grosskreutz has a year and a half left on his deal at Signal-Iduna Park, meaning that the Reds could get him at a bargain price.
The highly-rated midfielder has moved to confirm reports that he could move to English Premier League.
“If one day I continue my career oversees, the Premier League is the best choice. I really like English football,” the 24-year-old told Bild.
Grosskreutz has lost his place in the starting line-up following the arrival of Marco Reus and he could decide to join his former teammate Nuri Sahin at Anfield.
Milan want Vlad Chiriches
Italian TV station Mediaset understands that AC Milan are readying January bid for Steaua defender Vlad Chiriches.
Boss Max Allegri is far from satisfied with his options in the heart of defence and is looking to sign another centre-back in the winter.
According to Mediaset, Steaua stopper Vlad Chiriches has moved to the top of the Rossoneri’s wish list.
The 23-year-old has developed into an important player for both club and country, but Steaua chiefs are eager to cash in on the defender, as they believe he has a disruptive influence on the dressing room.
Chiriches is valued at €5 million, although Milan hope to sign the player on six-month loan with an option to buy.
The only problem is that the Rossoneri could face a stiff competition for the player’s signature from Chelsea and Inter.
Vlad Chiriches is regarded as one of the most talented defenders in Eastern Europe and has already made 15 appearances for Romania national team.
