Things in Major League Soccer are slowly heating up as the off-season is in full swing and the clubs are looking to make deals ahead of the new season. One player is particularly on the radar of MLS clubs and that is Edinson Cavani. The Uruguayan star is apparently approaching the end of his time at Paris Saint-Germain and MLS franchises want to make the best out of that.
Previously, it was Inter Miami, the new franchise owned by former PSG player David Beckham, who were interested in signing Cavani on a free transfer in the summer of 2020, as he is a perfect fit for their international following. But Le10Sport are now reporting that Los Angeles Galaxy have made contact with the representatives in order to make this deal happen.
Cavani will be a free agent at the end of the current season and the Galaxy are hoping to bring in the Uruguayan as a replacement for Zlatan Ibrahimovic who left the club, but also left a big hole to fill, both in terms of the quality and money to spend on a Designated Player.
