According to reports coming from the Argentine branch of Marca, the five-time MLS champions LA Galaxy have once again set their sights on Boca Juniors forward Dario Benedetto.
The 28-year-old Argentine was already linked with LA Galaxy during his time in the Mexican Primera Division with both Club Tijuana and Club America, respectively, and the MLS heavyweights are once again exploring the possibility to sign him.
This time around, though, LA Galaxy are also interested in Boca Juniors manager Guillermo Barros Schelotto and believe they would be able to persuade them both to move to the United States.
Benedetto was a standout performer in Liga MX, wreaking havoc on MLS defences in the CONCACAF Champions League but his Boca Juniors spell has been largely ruined due to a ruptured ACL which saw him make only nine Argentina Superliga appearances in the 2017/18 season.
Despite his severely limited time on the pitch, Benedetto managed to score nine goals in as many matches and LA Galaxy believe he would be a notable addition to the squad.
