Los Angeles Galaxy are not done improving their team. After two horrific seasons – one where they were the worst team in MLS and the other one when they missed out on play-offs in the last game of the regular season – the Californian club continue adding pieces to their puzzle. At least it seems so, as Galaxy general manager Dennis te Kloese said on Tuesday he hopes the club would be able to land Giancarlo Gonzalez.

The centre-back from Costa Rica is 31 years old, but Te Kloese told the MLS website that the Galaxy are hoping to make progress in the coming days.

“We hope so. We’ve been very busy and there’s a lot of work that goes into rules and regulations in MLS with being able to bring in a player like him or other players on the allocation list. We hope to and we trust we can make some progress in the coming days. I think we should be OK, but it’s always a work in progress,” Te Kloese added.
